About

The Astrix HDRM is a 3 mm thick hold-down and release mechanism engineered for CubeSat solar arrays, antennas, and booms. Two redundant shape memory alloy wire actuators triggered by simultaneous current pulses provide reliable, simple deployment. The ultra-thin profile minimizes stack height for tight integration with 3U–12U CubeSat structures. Maximum preload of 10 N with a 170 × 85 mm footprint. Full documentation (datasheets, CAD, ICD, user manual) and unlimited complimentary technical support included.
