About

Bradford’s Coarse Sun Sensor (CSS) delivers a full 180×180° FOV with ±2° (3σ) accuracy at beginning of life and negligible noise equivalent angle. The 215 g unit features internal redundancy via dual 9-pin D-sub connectors, zero passive power draw, >100 kRad TID tolerance and insensitivity to SEE. Reliability of 41 FIT at 60°C per channel. Designed for spacecraft that cannot fail — suitable for full-sky acquisition.
