Comat’s deployable antenna mechanism folds compactly for launch within the small satellite envelope and deploys on command once on orbit, enabling the spacecraft’s communications link. The mechanism is engineered for repeatable, reliable deployment kinematics consistent with Comat’s mechanical heritage in space deployables.
The deployable antenna is part of Comat’s Small Sat business line product set, alongside the NANOBOOM boom system and SADM solar array drive mechanism.
