About
The Crystalspace P1U EPS, also known as “Vasik,” is a compact and sophisticated electrical power supply system tailored for densely packed 1-unit and 2-unit CubeSats. It incorporates fast maximum power point tracking (MPPT) boost converters to efficiently charge its integrated, doubled battery pack. The battery output is then routed through duplicated converters that can supply regulated voltages of 3.3V, 5V, and 12V. Additionally, an unregulated 3.7V battery bus and the regulated buses are accessible via individually selectable, current-limited, and latch-up-protected switches. The pinouts, output voltages, and available channels of the system are customizable to meet specific user requirements.
