The Crystalspace C1U CubeSat Camera is engineered for flexibility and reliability across a range of space missions, from Earth orbit and planetary exploration to deep space operations. It provides monitoring capabilities for panel and antenna deployment, vision for docking and close proximity operations, Earth observation, and Space Situational Awareness (SSA) for satellites. For rovers, it supports telecommand & autonomous navigation, terrain mapping, and situational awareness, enabling real-time decision making on extraterrestrial surfaces. In lander applications, the camera assists with visual monitoring during descent, surface imaging after touchdown, and precise feedback during instrument or payload deployment, even in extreme lighting conditions. The product is built and tested in the EU, designed and assembled in Estonia using traceable, NATO-sourced components to ensure quality and compliance. All Crystalspace products, including the C1U CubeSat Camera, are ITAR-free.
