About

DeltaX Propulsion’s electrospray thruster combines efficiency, scalability, and lightweight design to power the next era of small satellites and spacecraft. By translating breakthroughs in nanomaterials science into reliable in-space propulsion, the thruster delivers a specific impulse of approximately 3,000 seconds — two to three times that of chemical thrusters — while achieving a 50% mass reduction through aerogel-integrated propellant technology. The modular, scalable design scales from CubeSats to GEO-class spacecraft, enabling agile maneuvering, precision thrust control, formation flying, and extended mission lifetimes. Lower power consumption compared to competing electric propulsion options and enhanced durability and longevity make it suitable for long-duration commercial and defense missions.
