About

The DOG-DA4 Free Space Optical Detector from WORK Microwave is a fibre-coupled optical detector specifically engineered for the reception of optical free space communication. It incorporates four highly responsive InGaAs avalanche photodiodes (APD) with a fibre-coupled input, ensuring efficient signal acquisition. The amplified and limited output of the detector makes it particularly suitable for receiving hard-decision on-off-keying (O3K) signals, adhering to CCSDS standards 141.0-B-x and 142.0-B-x. Housed in a standard 19-inch rack mount, the DOG-DA4 offers both a front panel user interface and network access via SNMP and HTTP interfaces, facilitating seamless integration into existing satellite ground station infrastructures.
