LOXSAT
NASA-funded technology demonstration satellite for cryogenic fluid management in microgravity.
About
LOXSAT is a technology demonstration satellite funded by NASA that tests a series of cryogenic fluid management technologies in space, including zero-loss storage and transfer and cryogenic pressure control. Scheduled for launch from Mahia, New Zealand, LOXSAT will be stationed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for a total of 9 months to prove these technologies in microgravity, paving the way for the commercial Cryo-Dock cryogenic propellant depot.
