About

ExoTerra’s Iris is a bolt-on Solar Electric Propulsion Module offering best-in-class propulsion performance in a packaged solution. It enables rideshare small spacecraft to optimize mission orbits by adjusting inclination or altitude after a rideshare drop-off, reduces life cycle cost by extending mission lifetime up to 5 years, enables end-of-life deorbiting, or performs large orbit insertions. Iris mounts inside a standard 24″ Lightband and is under 30 cm total height. Electronics are radiation tolerant to 30 kRad TID and operate at sub-kilowatt levels.
