Guodian Gaoke offers commercial satellite IoT connectivity services through the Tianqi LEO constellation — China’s first and currently largest low-orbit satellite IoT network with 41 satellites in orbit as of 2026 and global coverage. The service provides low-power, narrowband data uplink (short messages up to 120 bytes per transmission) with an average 5-minute satellite revisit time at any point on Earth.
Service tiers support one-way data collection from IoT sensors and two-way short-message communication for remote control applications. Industries served include energy (wind turbine and pipeline monitoring), water conservancy (reservoir telemetry), maritime (buoy networks, vessel tracking, reefer monitoring), emergency management (rescue beacon platforms), ecology (wildlife migration tracking), and smart transportation (fleet tracking in no-coverage areas).
In May 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology approved Guodian Gaoke for China’s first commercial satellite IoT trial — a two-year authorization covering all-weather data collection, remote sensing, and remote control services globally. International distribution partnerships cover South Africa (Q-KON), Malaysia/Sarawak (MEASAT + StarWin), and other markets.
