ISISPACE Antenna – VHF/UHF Deployable 6U/12U

The ISISPACE Antenna System for 6/12U CubeSats is a deployable VHF/UHF antenna designed for CubeSats from 6U and up. Its design is based on the successful ISISPACE deployable antenna system for 1U to 3U CubeSats, re-engineered with a modular approach to fit larger 6U/12U structures while maintaining the same capabilities. The system supports various RF antenna configurations for UHF/VHF communications, including 4x monopole, 2x dipole, and 1x turnstile, with other hybrid configurations between dipole and monopole also available. These antennas can cover frequency ranges from VHF to UHF and are deployed under user command. Key features include automated sequential deployment, individual antenna element deployment, and a dual-redundant deployment system for enhanced reliability. It also incorporates software safe/arm implementation and a safety watchdog. Extensive telemetry is available, providing deployment feedback, antenna temperature, and other critical data. The system offers multiple mounting positions for integration flexibility.
