About

Kepler’s GEN1 satellites are 20 kg CubeSat-class platforms operating in LEO with Ku-band communication payloads. The GEN1 constellation (19 satellites) demonstrated both store-and-forward and real-time relay capabilities, validating Kepler’s dual-mode service architecture. GEN1 satellites operate at approximately 550 km altitude and serve as the operational backbone of Kepler’s network while GEN2 satellites are deployed. Each GEN1 satellite carries a high-gain Ku-band patch antenna array enabling direct connectivity to maritime, energy, and remote enterprise customers.
