SITRO-AIS is a series of Russian 3U CubeSats built by SPUTNIX for Sitronics Group, carrying AIS receivers to track ship signals from orbit for maritime traffic monitoring.

About
SITRO-AIS is a series of Russian 3U CubeSats developed by SPUTNIX for Sitronics Group. Each satellite carries a receiver for receiving and transmitting Automatic Identification System (AIS) signals transmitted by ships, relaying this data to ground stations to monitor and ensure the safety of maritime navigation. The satellites use a standard CubeSat (3U) bus configuration powered by solar cells and batteries; no dedicated propulsion system is listed. The constellation has been deployed in large batches as rideshare payloads on Soyuz-2-1b/Fregat launches from Vostochny Cosmodrome (LC-1S). SITRO-AIS 1-4 are planned/unlaunched entries. SITRO-AIS 5 (Katys), 6 (Chirkin), 7 (Fartushniy), 8 (Anokhin), 9 (Shchukin), 10 (Burdaev), 11 (Sheffer) and 12 (Smirenniy) launched together on 27.06.2023 aboard a Soyuz-2-1b Fregat alongside Meteor-M 2-3 and numerous other rideshare smallsats. SITRO-AIS 13 through 24 launched on 04.11.2024 aboard a Soyuz-2-1b Fregat alongside Ionosfera-M 1, 2 and other rideshare payloads. SITRO-AIS 25 through 34 (and further numbered satellites) launched on 29.02.2024 aboard a Soyuz-2-1b Fregat alongside Meteor-M 2-4, Marafon-D-GVM, Pars 1 and Zorkiy 2M-2, again as part of a large multi-satellite rideshare mission.
