About
Zorkiy-2M is SITRONICS Space’s Earth observation CubeSat constellation, developed by its Sputnix subsidiary. Each satellite is a 12U CubeSat weighing approximately 24 kg, operating at 450–600 km altitude. The satellites carry a 4-channel multispectral camera covering visible and near-infrared bands (450–900 nm) with a ground sampling distance of 2.5 m/pixel and a swath width of at least 11 km at nadir.
Three Zorkiy-2M satellites are currently operational, delivering data download rates of up to 1 GB/s per ground station pass. Services offered to customers include on-demand image tasking, agricultural monitoring, change detection, urban development tracking, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure assessment. Each satellite has a designed operational lifetime of 5 years.
SITRONICS Space / Sputnix distributes imagery and derived analytics products through commercial channels, targeting both institutional (government, defence) and commercial (agriculture, insurance, urban planning) customers in Russia and internationally.
