About

Kuang-Chi’s flagship delivered outputs combine three related metamaterial product lines for aerospace applications: load-bearing structural components manufactured from engineered metamaterials rather than conventional composites; multifunctional curved-surface metamaterial radomes providing precise electromagnetic transmission and shielding across complex geometries for aircraft and missile sensor covers; and metamaterial conformal antennas integrated directly into a vehicle’s structural skin, reducing drag and radar cross-section while maintaining communications and radar performance. These have been delivered into multiple advanced equipment programs in China, replacing traditional structural materials to improve platform performance.
