Compared to Kymeta’s u8 product line, the Kestrel u5 offers 70% less volume and 68% less weight while still providing full satellite connectivity, requiring only 100 W of nominal power. It operates as part of Kymeta’s Intelligent Communications Platform, which leverages edge processing, software-defined capabilities, and hybrid multi-network functionality to maintain continuous, resilient connectivity.
