The Simulsat 7A Multibeam Earth Station is a unique antenna designed to simultaneously receive signals from up to 37 satellites within a 75° view arc, providing equal performance on each satellite. This capability is crucial for applications requiring multiple satellite reception. The antenna supports a wide range of frequency bands, including C-Band, Ku-Band, C/Ku-Band, Ka-Band, X-Band, S-Band, and Inclined Orbit feeds. Key features include its market leadership in multibeam technology since 1979, the ability to add or change satellite feeds easily without purchasing new antennas, and its compact size, which is approximately equivalent to three parabolic antennas of similar performance. It is a fixed antenna with no moving parts, constructed with commercial-quality composite materials. The Simulsat 7A offers significant benefits such as lower overall costs, reduced space requirements, and superior performance compared to retrofits, receiving signals with uniform performance across its 75-degree view arc. Applications include broadcasters, cable television, universities/distance learning, television and radio, military/government, and corporations. ATCi also offers advanced feed designs for the Simulsat line, including the 4-Port and 2-Port feeds. The 4-Port feed is designed for maximum flexibility in optimizing feeds for satellites spaced at 2° longitude, operating over the ‘extended’ C-band (3.4 to 4.2 GHz) and commercial Ku-band (10.95 to 12.75 GHz) frequency ranges. It includes a mounting rack and two C and two Ku-Band PLL LNBs. The 2-Port feed also offers similar flexibility for 2° longitude spacing, operating over the ‘extended’ C-band (3.4 to 4.2 GHz) and includes a mounting rack and two C-Band PLL LNBs. Both feed types accommodate bandpass filters for secure operation.
