At Leaf Space, we understand the complexities of scheduling satellite passes across a global network of ground stations. Manual booking with numerous antennas and hundreds of satellites often leads to inefficiencies. To address this, we developed a powerful, proprietary scheduling system to ensure optimal availability and performance. Our Scheduler is built on a robust Kubernetes engine that intelligently allocates capacity across our entire ground station network. It considers various mission constraints provided by users, integrates them with available satellite passes, and performs detailed optimizations to deliver a dynamic moving window schedule. This system eliminates manual bookings, providing an optimized schedule that guarantees availability and maintains the highest level of reliability. Unlike traditional first-come, first-served methods, our Scheduler utilizes patent-pending algorithms to guarantee capacity for each satellite, empowering users to execute their missions confidently. It is designed to meet the needs of both small operators and large constellations.
