About

Leidos delivers trusted space capabilities designed to strengthen American spacepower and support both national security and civil space missions. For national security, they develop and integrate systems, networks, software, and mission operations to enhance space domain awareness, accelerate decision-making, and ensure resilient operations. This includes advanced sensing payloads for missile warning, tracking, and space domain awareness, often with onboard processing and AI for real-time insights. They also provide open, vendor-agnostic mission software that integrates legacy systems and emerging commercial technologies into secure operational environments, enabling rapid updates. Integrated mission services focus on threat assessment, intelligence integration, and refining mission workflows. Digital modernization efforts secure mission networks and infrastructure using cloud environments and zero-trust architectures.

For civil space, Leidos supports missions that expand human presence and advance scientific discovery. Their services include mission logistics, engineering, astronaut training, and microgravity research. They plan, train, and execute human spaceflight missions, prepare astronauts and flight control teams, and translate laboratory research into flight-ready experiments. Engineering capabilities cover designing, certifying, and integrating human spaceflight systems, such as crew equipment, life-support technologies, and ISS research facilities. They also manage NASA-sponsored and commercial cargo missions for the International Space Station, designing logistics systems for Orion and Artemis, and supporting next-generation spaceports. Additionally, Leidos provides next-generation IT solutions for NASA, modernizing and securing agency-wide systems, managing data across numerous devices, and offering network and imagery services for launches and landings.
