About

LoReTT (full name: LoReTT Global) is a Moscow-based Skolkovo Innovation Center resident company specializing in ground-based systems for satellite Earth observation data reception and processing. Founded in April 2017, the company’s core hardware product is its Silybum (formerly LoReTT) fixed-antenna X-band receiving station, designed to receive, demodulate, decode, and process digital data transmitted by LEO optical Earth observation satellites.

The station supports reception from multiple commercial and governmental EO satellites and pairs with LoReTT’s Planum software complex for geospatial data processing and analysis via NextGIS tools (QGIS, Web, Mobile). The company’s founders have approximately 30 years of experience in satellite image reception and processing, and LoReTT has been a participant in ESA activities.

LoReTT occupies a niche between large satellite data vendors and end users, providing the reception infrastructure and processing software that allows educational institutions, regional governments, and smaller organizations to receive and process satellite imagery directly rather than purchasing ready-made products from major imagery providers.
