Lynk Global’s Direct-to-Device (D2D) satellite connectivity service connects directly to unmodified, standard mobile phones without requiring any special hardware, acting as a cell-tower-in-space. The service has been demonstrated on all seven continents and addresses approximately 90% of Earth’s surface that lacks terrestrial cellular coverage, targeting over 1 billion currently unconnected people worldwide.
