Modular Magnetic-Connector Satellite Platform

NazarX’s modular satellite platform uses snap-together components with magnetic connectors to let CubeSat modules be assembled, swapped, or repaired like building blocks, on Earth or in orbit. The approach is designed to cut satellite integration and repair time from several days to a few hours, improving maintainability and scalability while lowering the barrier to building and upgrading small satellites. The concept won the national round of the Act in Space International Hackathon in Uzbekistan and placed second overall at the international final held in Bordeaux, France in April 2026, among finalist teams from Senegal, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Australia, and France.
