About
N7 Space’s CANopen Stack is a flight-qualified implementation of the CANopen protocol (ECSS-E-ST-50-15C) for spacecraft avionics bus communication. CANopen is widely used in European spacecraft and ESA missions for reliable inter-subsystem data exchange between OBC, power, propulsion, and payload nodes. The N7 Space implementation supports both master and slave node roles, SDO/PDO communication patterns, and emergency object handling. The stack has been used in European space programs and is qualified to ECSS standards. It runs on RTEMS and bare-metal platforms and is provided as source code with full documentation and FOSS licensing conditions available.
