About
The NanoStruct 12U is a 12U satellite structure designed for commercial missions requiring significant payload space and precise orbit control. It offers high reliability and design flexibility, accelerating the path to orbit and unlocking new possibilities for advanced satellite applications. The structure provides up to 9U dedicated to payload, making it suitable for missions with very high-power requirements. It is based on GomSpace’s new modular systems, providing professional platforms for commercial missions. All GomSpace satellite structures, including the 12U, are engineered with a versatile array of internal and external mechanical interfaces for seamless integration of diverse components like payloads, antennas, solar panels, and internal subsystems. This modular approach enhances adaptability across mission profiles and simplifies assembly, maintenance, and future upgrades. The 12U structure supports large payloads, flexible subsystem integration, and optional interfaces for electric propulsion systems, making it ideal for education, capacity building, technology demonstration, large science, and commercial missions.
