NanoXplore's ULTRA300 RH is a pure-fabric 290K LUT rad-hard FPGA on 28nm FD-SOI: 896 DSP blocks, 22 Mb BRAM, 20 SpaceWire PHYs, 4 SERDES at 12.5 Gbps, 50+ kRad TID, available in BGA-484 or BGA-1152.

About

The ULTRA300 RH is NanoXplore’s pure-fabric radiation-hardened FPGA, derived from the logic architecture of the NG-ULTRA but optimized for applications requiring a large programmable logic array without an integrated processor subsystem. Fabricated on the STMicroelectronics 28nm FD-SOI process, the device contains 290,496 LUT-4s, 273,408 registers, 68,352 carry chain elements, and 22 Mb of embedded RAM (21.5 Mb DPRAM, 1.4 Mb register file). DSP resources total 896 blocks. High-speed connectivity options include 20 SpaceWire PHY interfaces at 400 Mbps, 4 SERDES channels at 12.5 Gbps, 20 DDR2/3 PHY interfaces, and 4 ADC/DAC converters. Two package options are available: a compact BGA-484 with 239 user I/Os and a larger BGA-1152 with 500 user I/Os. I/O banks support voltage levels from 1.2V to 3.3V across multiple industry-standard protocols. Radiation hardening by design achieves SEU immunity at LET > 60 MeV·cm²/mg and TID tolerance exceeding 50 kRad(Si), with embedded EDAC and configuration memory scrubbing. The ULTRA300 targets satellite payload processing, communication subsystem signal processing, and sensor data management applications requiring high logic density in a radiation-tolerant device without the cost premium of a full SoC FPGA.
