The NEC Space Technologies C40 Series Command Receiver (CMDRX) is a space-qualified S-band command receiver forming part of the satellite Telecommunication Subsystem for tracking and commanding satellites from the ground. The C40 is capable of operating with the Direct Spread Spectrum (DSS) communication system, providing short carrier acquisition time and high immunity to interference. An automatic resume function from primary power failure enhances operational reliability. The CMDRX supports accurate demodulation and decoding of uplink command signals and is compatible with a range of ground command transmission systems.
