About
The Needronix Osprey Earth Sensor provides an Earth/nadir reference for small satellite attitude determination, enabling accurate nadir-pointing for Earth observation and downlink missions where sun sensors alone are insufficient for full attitude determination. The sensor detects the Earth limb or thermal emission to derive a nadir direction vector, complementing gyroscopes and sun sensors in a complete ADCS suite. Designed for compatibility with standard CubeSat bus voltages and digital interfaces, the Osprey is targeted at 3U through 16U spacecraft for LEO Earth observation missions.
