About
The Needronix Eagle Sun Sensor is a compact, high-accuracy sun sensor designed for nano- and microsatellite attitude determination. It measures the solar vector within a ±60° field of view with 0.09° accuracy, providing precise sun reference data for ADCS algorithms. The all-digital output (I2C and SPI interface) simplifies spacecraft integration and eliminates analog signal conditioning circuitry. At 12g mass and 3.3V operation, the Eagle fits naturally into CubeSat power and mass budgets. The sensor provides a cost-effective, flight-heritage solution for missions requiring reliable sun-pointing or detumbling capabilities.
