EMC / EMI Testing

Element U.S. Space & Defense operates one of the largest EMI testing laboratory networks in North America, providing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) engineering and compliance services spanning design analysis, testing, and technical training. Services include harmonics and flicker testing, electrical fast transient and surge testing, radiated susceptibility from 10 kHz to 40 GHz at up to 200 V/m, magnetic susceptibility, HIRF testing from 400 MHz to 18 GHz, indirect lightning effects testing to 10 kV/10 kA, and NEBS/telecom/ITE product compliance testing in semi-anechoic chambers up to 40′ x 40′ x 20′. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) capabilities cover network models up to ±30 kV contact and air discharges, 300 kV vertical lift simulation, and P-static discharge testing. Engineering support includes EMC control plans, design reviews, E3 analyses, and NARTE-certified engineering staff.
