OS-M Orbital Launch Vehicle

Four-stage solid-fuel orbital small-satellite launcher targeting sun-synchronous orbit.

About

The OS-M is OneSpace’s four-stage, solid-propellant orbital launch vehicle, designed to deliver small satellites into orbit, with a baseline capability of roughly 112 kg to a 500 km sun-synchronous orbit. The OS-M family includes boosted variants OS-M2 and OS-M4 that add strap-on solid boosters to increase payload capacity for larger smallsat and rideshare missions. The first OS-M1 orbital launch attempt took place from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on 27 March 2019, carrying a technology-verification satellite; the mission ended in a second-stage failure. OS-M is part of OneSpace’s broader family of rocket products, developed under the company’s in-house names including Linglong (灵龙) and Wangshu (望舒).
