About

Prosix’s space deployable antenna reflectors use modular construction technology that provides low-weight, compactly deployable support structures suitable for both large and small deployable apertures. Because a deployment mechanism typically gets only one attempt in orbit, Prosix draws on its experience, knowledge, and engineering to build fail-safe hybrid composite solutions that ensure the full success of the deployment. One of the key challenges for small and large satellites is packaging and reliably deploying the structures and arrays used for communication and scientific instruments, and Prosix addresses this by designing complex shapes — with positive or negative curvature — that support multiple reversible deployment and folding processes. The reflectors scale from 0.5 to 16 meters in diameter while remaining ultracompact when stowed and ultra-precise once deployed, enabling repetitive aperture geometries built from space-qualified structures. Scalability allows growth in size using conventional truss-structure principles, while modularity allows further growth with reduced development costs, making the product line adaptable across a wide range of communication and scientific payload reflector requirements.
