5G Remote Radio Unit (RU)

Saankhya Labs develops an O-RAN 7.2x compliant multiband 5G Remote Radio Unit (RU) as part of its 5G NR product line. Features include support for multiple bands, a single-chip solution, Low-PHY with IQ compression engine, differentiated CFR and DPD IP, a patent-pending signal-aware fronthaul compression technique that lowers fronthaul capacity requirements and op-ex, RAN analytics with a low-level RIC, and dynamic cell-edge detection and interference management to modulate emitted power – targeting lower total cost of ownership through a specialized ASIC (lower capex) and low power/fronthaul capacity (lower opex).
