Long March 6 (CZ-6) is a Chinese new-generation medium-lift launch vehicle developed by SAST using LOX/kerosene propellants for cleaner and higher-performance operation compared to older hypergolic vehicles. First flew on September 20, 2015. The CZ-6A variant adds solid strap-on boosters for higher payload capacity. CZ-6 has been used for commercial satellite constellations including Qianfan SpaceSail.
