About
The SCS Space nSight-2 is a compact 3U CubeSat Earth observation platform based on heritage from the Gecko imager flown on the nSight-1 mission (operational since May 2017). With a mass under 6 kg, the nSight-2 carries the Mantis imager providing multispectral imaging at 16 m GSD across up to 6 spectral lines, or hyperspectral imaging at 32 m GSD, both with a 32 km swath width. Onboard storage of 128 GB and a 3-year design lifetime make it suitable for responsive commercial Earth observation.
