SecondStar Astronautics H2/O2 aerospike thruster employs water electrolysis to generate hydrogen and oxygen propellants on-demand, which are then combusted in an aerospike nozzle configuration. The aerospike design provides altitude-compensating expansion for improved efficiency. Zero carbon emissions with water vapor as the only combustion byproduct.
