About
Vikram-II is Skyroot Aerospace’s next-generation small satellite launch vehicle, powered by an advanced cryogenic engine for superior payload capacity and multi-orbit agility. It is designed to carry up to 900 kg to Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and up to 600 kg to Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO), significantly expanding capability beyond Vikram-I. The vehicle features a carbon composite structure and supports both dedicated and rideshare launch configurations with custom orbital deployment. Vikram-II is manufactured in India and is targeted for its first launch in 2027. It follows the commercial and technological heritage established by Vikram-I and the Vikram-S suborbital vehicle.
