About

Skyrora XL is a three-stage orbital launch vehicle. The first stage is powered by 9 Skyforce engines, using a turbopump propellant feed system, and provides 70kN thrust above sea level and 79.7kN in vacuum. The second stage uses 1 Skyforce engine with a turbopump system, delivering 85kN thrust in vacuum. The third stage features 1 LEO engine with a pressure-fed system, providing 3.5kN thrust in vacuum and capable of multiple re-ignitions. The vehicle is designed to be launched from a mobile launch complex, which consists of modular engineering systems that do not exceed standard 40 ft ISO container sizes, allowing for rapid setup and pack-down and launches from interchangeable locations. The payload module is encapsulated and can be assembled standalone from the launch vehicle, consisting of a payload fairing, adapter, and optional dispenser. The fairing is a two-half, 3-layer composite shell with a honeycomb filler and carbon-fiber composite bearing layers, released by push-rod springs at the required altitude.
