About
Space Union is registered as an operating agency in the ITU and is developing LEO satellite laser communication gateways. These satellite platforms use optical laser inter-satellite links as a backbone for a new era of microsatellites, enabling extra high throughput communications in space. Gateway services include: extending coverage of 5G wireless networks, device-to-device communication and integration into existing GSM networks for IoT service providers, space-based secure data storage and transmission via quantum key cryptography, and global quantum key distribution over trusted node scheme to head ends of fixed and mobile operators. Frequency coordination has been conducted with all relevant administrations.
