SPACEiN is focused on developing India’s first private Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation, integrated with terrestrial and aerial networks, to offer connectivity solutions for underserved and emerging markets, IoT, defense, agriculture, and smart villages. Their unique approach integrates LEO satellites, High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites (HAPS), and ground infrastructure into a unified architecture. Key innovations include metasurface-integrated handsets, a software-defined SATCOM stack, and indigenous AI integration. The company aims to provide real-time surveillance, communication continuity during disasters, border communication, AI-powered situational awareness, and emergency services integration, without dependency on foreign operators. They are also pioneering HAPS for rapid deployment of communication networks during natural disasters, conflict, or blackouts. SPACEiN’s system is designed to strengthen and extend existing telecom operators, acting as a resilient backbone during outages or capacity surges with its hybrid architecture.
