About
The Starling is Benchmark Space Systems’ cold gas and resistojet propulsion system for small satellite attitude control and primary propulsion. Uses the patented ODPS™ (On-Demand Pressurization System) with non-toxic, inert, DOT-approved powered propellant — no pressurized tank required at launch. Configurable with 1–4 thrusters. The Starling Ardent variant adds a resistojet heater stage boosting Isp to 105–140 s. Ships fully assembled with 2 kN·s maximum total impulse.
