About

The Test Loop Translator VSTLT from WORK Microwave is a versatile frequency translator specifically engineered for comprehensive RF band testing and system evaluation. This device allows for the conversion of signals between various RF bands, including C, X, Ku, K(DBS), Ka, and Q-Band outputs. It features an RF-Filter on the output and a variable attenuator with a range of 0 to 30 dB in 0.1 dB steps, providing precise signal control. The VSTLT also includes a signal mute function and an integrated local oscillator with a 100 Hz step size. Digital gain compensation and a highly stable OCXO (with long-term stability less than 10^-7 per year) ensure accurate and reliable performance. Optional polarization switches are available for both input and output. The unit offers a 10 MHz reference output and boasts low power consumption. Control is flexible, with options for local operation via front panel push buttons and self-explanatory display menus, or remote control through RS232, RS422/485 (2-wire or 4-wire) interfaces, TCP/IP over Ethernet, and a Web browser interface. Detailed monitoring of system status and a summary alarm output with dual change-over switch contacts are also provided.
