It is particularly useful for environmental experiments such as thermal vacuum and thermal cycling, ensuring the star tracker’s reliability under various conditions. Beyond functional testing, the OSPS can also be utilized for performing star tracker polarity and data stability testing, which are crucial for verifying the accuracy and consistency of the star tracker’s output. This instrument plays a vital role in the development phase of star trackers and in the testing of satellite applications that rely on these sensors for navigation and attitude control.
