About this service
ThermAvant provides analytical services to resolve thermal-mechanical challenges. This includes exact analytical calculators for hot spots on isotropic and anisotropic heat spreaders, an analytical model for oscillating heat pipe (OHP) operating limits, an OHP thermal conductance predictor, and a fluid selection figure of merit calculator for over 1,000 working fluids. They also maintain a library of tens of thousands of OHP experimental results with empirical heat transfer coefficients and offer a 1-D compressible flow and pressure calculator for ejector refrigerators.
