SatVu has transitioned its thermal imaging satellite, HotSat-1, into commercial operation, offering data collection and analysis services. This includes providing high-resolution thermal imagery and video (up to 60 seconds long) with applications ranging from logistics optimization and environmental planning to energy-related decision-making. The data can be used to monitor activity inside structures, track movement, and provide insights for climate and environmental monitoring, such as identifying active fire fronts, monitoring rail logistics, observing urban heat islands, and industrial activity monitoring. The service leverages the unique capability of HotSat-1 to capture thermal data at 3.5m resolution, day and night, and through smoke, from any point on Earth.
