This service is a critical part of their end-to-end mission operations, following data downlink and monitoring. It includes the controlled re-entry of the Phoenix orbital transfer and return vehicle and the rapid recovery of the payload. The service also covers the logistical aspects of transporting the payload to the launch site from a customer-selected general aviation airport, payload integration at the launch site, payload retrieval upon return from space, and subsequent return to the customer’s selected general aviation airport.
