Parsimoni offers to integrate its SpaceOS payload operating system onto a customer’s existing satellite payload computer. This service is provided at Parsimoni’s expense, meaning there is no upfront integration fee or license minimum for the operator. The company’s compensation is tied to the value generated, such as new revenue from third-party workloads or cost savings from on-board processing, typically a 10-15% platform fee. This approach allows operators to adopt SpaceOS without initial financial risk, while retaining their existing satellites, hardware, and flight software, as SpaceOS operates in its own partition and does not interfere with critical bus management or real-time systems.
