Planet Tasking offers organizations the ability to request high-frequency satellite imagery and data, including stereo collection for 3D models and DEM construction, off-nadir imagery, and videos, for any location worldwide. This service leverages a fleet of high-resolution tasking satellites to provide the most frequent, intraday revisit capability among commercial providers, capturing actionable insights sub-daily for real-time decision making. Customers can access this service through the Planet Select portal for pay-as-you-go flexibility or the Tasking Dashboard for ongoing projects, which allows submission, modification, and cancellation of imagery requests online with near-real-time updates and direct delivery of assets via Planet’s cloud-based infrastructure. The service supports various collection types, including point and strip up to 500 sq km, 3D models, DEM construction, and pan video up to 120 seconds.
