Orbit Fab provides Rendezvous, Proximity Operations, and Docking (RPO) services, which are crucial for reliable refueling. Their novel RPO solution, called FLATIRONs, utilizes traditional computer vision approaches rather than deep learning. This technology allows them to accurately identify visual indicator fiducials surrounding the refueling interface using long-wave infrared, ensuring precise and safe docking for refueling operations.
