About this service

Geoscan provides precise UAV-based magnetic surveys, combining UAV flexibility with the sensitivity of a quantum magnetometer equipped with a rubidium sensor. This service allows for variable altitude and speed proximity flights, even at 5m above plain areas or 30m in thick forest. The survey captures magnetic field data at 1-2 second intervals, with observations recorded 10 times per second, resulting in a surface distance of 0.8 to 1m between observation points. The average error in coordinates is ± 2m, and RMS error of imaging does not exceed ± 2 nT. The service includes field work and data processing according to geological mission, and flights are conducted under FAA regulations. Up to 330 linear km of precise magnetic survey can be performed in one day, with altitude-differential analysis to create magnetic field anomaly cubes.
