Optical Ground Stations (Ground-to-Space Links)
Ruggedized optical ground stations for space-to-ground links across LEO, MEO, and GEO — 2.5 Gbps to 1 Tbps communication speeds, modem-agnostic.
Description
BridgeComm's Ground-to-Space capability uses ruggedized optical ground stations delivering reliable space domain awareness in harsh environments with observations in close proximity to the Sun, day or night, 24/7. The systems support communication speeds between 2.5 Gbps and 1 Tbps, are modem-agnostic, and feature hot-swappable Space Situational Awareness benches with interoperable software. BridgeComm was awarded an SDA (Space Development Agency) Phase 2 contract in 2021 for a U.S. government program of record covering multiple optical ground stations, field-demonstrated with the Navy in 2021.
